Annual English courses

In the Language Center of the UMH Foundation, at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, the students use the English language on their first day of class.  Although grammar and vocabulary are studied by reading and writing, we place a lot of emphasis on students being able to communicate. For this reason, the classes include a wide range of listening and conversation activities, often in pairs or in small  groups ensuring the maximum time possible of practical time.

With 4 hours per week of face to face sessions and working on the 4 basic skills of the linguistic competence (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking),because of the small group of students we can assure the oral practice of each student and a close follow-up of the teaching-learning process. In addition, in the corresponding courses (2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th), mock exams and specific training will be carried out to obtain the Official Certifications of Cambridge English Language Assessment.

The classes are very dynamic and interactive.Teachers use games, interesting texts and audiovisual material to facilitate learning and ensure the assimilation of content. The students can reinforce weekly their learning in class, receive feedback and expand their knowledge through complementary material along with the Virtual Campus.
