Yes, I really mean this. Most of our students in the Laboratorio de Idiomas on the UMH campus have clearly (and honestly) admitted not having a Study Plan for learning English. This undeniable fact leads to an inefficient self-learning process. In other words, on-campus classes serve to correct and brush up usage errors in the four language skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking), and to guide them on the way to achieve communicative fluency. However, it is up to students to create a hands-on self-learning plan.
